Discussion Topics

This is a list of potential discussion topics for the Faculty. Depending on their nature and purpose, they could take the form of conventional presentations by individuals or structured debates with designated presenters and time for comments from the floor. Please feel free to suggest and discuss other potential areas for Faculty debate.

Translated into English, this means something like: "The fruits of publicly funded research should be freely available to everyone. If this is made so, what happens to the scientific journals and, particularly, to the refereeing and archiving services they provide?". This is an issue that concerns all of us and we should consider the implications.
